RCM prepares for the Hops Haven Brew Haus Grand Prix at Road America
RC Motorsports prepares for its first MNRL MIRL S8 CCWS Race at Road America. Supporting TEAM RCM is #81 PEPSI/AMP/MONSTER Sponsored Team Owner Courtenay Smith. In the other team's car is the #18 Subway/PAPA Johns/FedEx car of RCM newcomer Tony Rice. Both have tested extensively for the opening round to MIRL. 40 drivers are signed up for this series, so we can expect some action and stiff competition in this series. The race length is 30 laps, with multiple pit stops in these Champ Cars. It should be an exciting, strategic race with so many people signed up and racing in this series. MIRL Season 8: Race 1 is here, and after much preparation, TEAM RCM with Tony Rice and Courtenay Smith are ready to get things fired up for the MNRL MIRL S8 Opener!!

RC Motorsports sets a record at the BULL!!
Team RCM in their #3 Holden Commodore VE V8 Supercar started 6th and moved up at the start with Steve Rousseau the starting driver. He drove the first 100 mins and drove the car into the top 3. He lead briefly and maintained a consistent pace at 2nd place once the R4R car dropped out. Steve then handed over to Kevin Brents who drove for 96 mins and kept the 1 lap + advantage over 3rd place, and eventually falling 1 lap back to first place of TMo. Then with about 1hr and 15mins left, RCM team owner Courtenay Smith got in the car, and despite making a few mishaps and mistakes, he kept the car relatively clean, and brought it home in P2 for the TEAM'S FIRST EVER BULL RUN 1000! TEAM RCM finished 1 lap back of 1st, and 1 lap up on 3rd. VERY IMPRESSIVE RACE FOR TEAM RCM! Our FIRST ever BULL RUN and we finished it, which is a HUGE accomplishment in itself, and to finish in the TOP 3 on the podium is just icing on the cake, congrats to all who partook in the 10th Annual Bull Run 1000!!! Grats!

RCM officially retires from OATAS GTPThursday September 27th, 2007
RCM officially retires from OATAS GTP
Team RCM and Team OER have officially retired and pulled all 4 of their cars from the OATAS GTP series. Team RCM came 3rd in the 2006/2007 OATAS GTP season in GTP Lights, and Team OER came 2nd in the GTP Lights championship. Both teams combined to win 4 out of 7 races in the Lights class at OATAS. So RCM and OER will not be back for the 2008 season at OATAS GTP, and have also retired from the GTP mod too. We are looking to move on and go to some other forms of racing, after the OATAS season was a very long and tiring season, and both teams feel it is best to retire from GTP and just move on. So we thank all of you all from SSCA 12hrs of Watkins Glen Long to OATAS 10hrs of Watkins Glen Long finale. We thank everyone who participated and drove any of those 11 races we competed in with GTP. Thanks again and see you at SSCA.

RCM turns up the HEAT for the Grande Finale at Watkins Glen!!
RC Motorsports has faced driver losses, tough retirements, and communication problems during the 2006/2007 OATAS GTP Season.
But they have also faced a great deal of new drivers, wins, and experiences through out the season.
And thats why they are a candidate for the GTP Lights champion of 2006/2007.
We ask all our friend to hold thumbs for Courtenay Smith, Rickard Hellsten and any others that will join in for the battle of the most wanted position in simracing: Champion of the Season!!

#108 RCM1 Mazda takes revenge at Karjala!!!Saturday August 4th, 2007
#108 RCM1 Mazda takes revenge at Karjala!!!
The #108 entry for RC Motorsports managed to capture its first win and the teams 2nd win in OATAS at Karjala.
The 6 hour race was full with action and drama, and in the end it came down to a fierce battle between the #108 RCM1 Mazda and the #104 R4R Mazda. The battle was won by the #108 by 2 laps in the end.
Although for the 3 other cars it didn't work out well, Fredrik Arbegard in the #106 RCM2 Mazda was hit early in the 1st Hour in T1 and crashed heavily against the wall. Ricardo Valadao in the #20 RCM Sauber faced the same destiny in the hairpin after being hit by the #219 in the 4th hour, and the #111 Team OER Mazda blew its engine in the 4th hour.
Although sad to the 3 cars that retired, the team can now be happy in getting 2nd place in the Lights points standings.
Next up at OATAS is the 10 Hours of Watkins Glen Long on the 15th of September. See you there!

RC Motorsports gathers to drive hard at Karjala!
RC Motorsports has long wanted to take revenge from Le Mans, and now is the time! With 2 Mazdas and 1 Sauber, plus Team OER with their Mazda they hope to score a win in Karjala to keep fighting for the championship.
"Karjala is a crucial race for RCM and Team OER as we have to both win for the championship and to show we are competitive at OATAS GTP League". This was what co-owner Fredrik Arbegard said earlier today. RCM hopes to win this race in style, both for the championship and for their pride.

RC Motorsports 2007 Le Mans Race ReportSaturday June 9th, 2007
RC Motorsports 2007 Le Mans Race Report
RC Motorsports doesn't do too well at Le Mans. The biggest race of the year for the team, and 2 of the team's 4 cars go out in the first 3 hours. The #108 RCM1 Gulf Mazda and the #106 RCM2 Lowenbrau Toyota are faced with a very disappointing result at Le Mans after DNF'ing after 3hrs. But the #20 RCM Sauber and the #111 Team OER Logitech Mazda go on to survive for 13 and 14 hours respectively, but are forced out after multiple wrecks, killing the engine. Not one car made the Top 5 in either class, but the team will start practicing hard for Karjala in 2 months. We hope for a better race there. See you at Karjala!
