RCM falls out of the BullRun 1000Saturday November 21st 2009
RCM falls out of the BullRun 1000
The BullRun Raceway Colorado.
RC Motorsports were very confident to once again do good in the 11th annual BullRun 1000 situated in the high Colorado mountains, a long sweeping track with many notable corners and fast straights.
During pre-qual we saw the two famous now 2-man trios as both were one manned short, making the grid.
in #1 last years winners Daniel Smektala and Klaus Kaag were confident to do the same once again, and in #2 Kevin Brents and Steve Rousseau were back after a 1 year break from RCM.
Two ultra fast duo's ready in their Pontiac GTO's.
Qual went well for Kevin and Daniel as they qualified 4th and 6th in the grid.
On the opening laps the 3 main competitors crashed or spun out making RCM going strong in 2nd and 3rd.
But all was to come to an end when Kevin tried to swap with Steve and they discoed out of the car and reired on the 29th lap.
Daniel and Klaus managed to overcome the disco but instead sadly Klaus ISP broke down and the 2nd win was gone...
Only 5 of 32 cars finished the BullRun and the majority due to driver swaps gone wrong.
Next year we'll see if a certain rF2 is out and that the driver swaps are fixed in order to have a race with much more competitors running at the end.

FSR: RCM merges into Backmarker BrigadeMonday July 13th, 2009
FSR: RCM merges into Backmarker Brigade
Today RC Motorsport decided to merge the part of the team in FSR with the British team Backmarker Brigade.
RC Motorsport hasn't done well this year and they felt that they needed a change and a big one.
So after some negotiations it was decided that the FSR part of RC Motorsport was going to merge with Backmarker Brigade and Simon Smith will be the new Manager of the team in the Ama, Adv and Pro divisions.
"I am thrilled to be given this opportunity" said Simon "Now I can own not just the back row, but the penultimate row too! We already have already begun a driver selection process and the new team will be completely re badged and running at the Nurburgring. I'd like to thank RC Motorsports and Fredrik Arbegard for making this momentous deal possible!"
Former RCM Team Manager Fredrik Arbegard said: "I feel that choosing Backmarker Brigade and Simon was the right choice. He's leading a team with a positive and relaxed style and it has proven to be successful which is why I gladly let RCM merge with his team"
RC Motorsport wishes Simon Smith and Backmarker Brigade the best in FSR for the rest of and the coming seasons.

RCM on the move!Sunday July 12th, 2009
RCM on the move!
When the Indycar Sim Series came to Long Beach RCM was unsure of participation.
Though luckily both Fredrik Arbegard and Courtenay Smith was spotted on the grid.
Courtenay who had limited testing drove the Qual as good as he could and managed a 7th place on the grid, Fredrik who isn't a street specialst managed to qualify 2nd just 5 tenths behind Mark Aalberts.
The race start was exciting as Fredrik challenged Mark into T1 and won the initial battle and tooke the lead.
Sadly it would prove that Fredrik's race pace wasn't near that of Mark or Philip C ullen, and combined by misstakes and an incident beetween him and Phil Fredrik fell back to 4th but recovered and tooke home 3rd.
Courtenay had a hard day to get the feeling of the car he was as well involved in some incidents on the narrow track but made a solid run and finished 5th. Good job from both drivers.
In the Championship Fredrik is now 2nd on 76 points to Mark's 84 and 3rd is Philip on 74.
Courtenays 5th place gave him the 8th place in the championship at the moment on 32 points.
In Team champs RC Motorsport is now in the lead by 106 points followed by Red Bull Team Netherlands on 104 and RCA Monster Racing Team on 102.
Next race in 2 weeks is on the oval of Kansas Motorspeedway.
The first oval of the season and RC Motorsport are confident of a top position in that race.

Fredrik finishes 2nd!Sunday July 5th, 2009
Fredrik finishes 2nd!
When the IndycarSim Series went to the first round in St. Petersburg it was a low turn out with a 12 man grid.
Never the less RC Motorsport was there represented by Fredrik Arbegard in the #10 Chip Ganassi car he drove waiting for the RCM cars.
Fredrik hadn't practiced much and still he managed 4th on the grid a second from pole man Mark Aalbers.
After 3 restart Fredrik positioned himself 3rd after Emre Uyusal and Aalbers, these two went away in the distance while Fredrik maintained his 3rd place.
He was put under pressure by Muhammed Patel and Philip Cullen but maintained a distance of 1 second until the first pitstops.
With the field getting smaller and smaller due to the amount of crashes Fredrik was promoted to 2nd and stayed there until the race was Red Flagged on lap 65 of 100.
Emre Uyusal was the winner with Fredrik 2nd and Scott Wilde 3rd.
Next the team heads for the streets of Long Beach and we hope to see a bigger turn out as well as another good position.

Finally...an FSR WS Victory!!!Monday June 29th, 2009
Finally...an FSR WS Victory!!!
The last grand prix of Silverstone could have played out better for RCM but it proved to play out GREAT for RCM's sister team Brodin Virtual Motorsport.

In Amateur none of the RC Motorsports drivers was there due to busy schedule and an empty seat.
But one driver was there and that was Mirko Lupini for Brodin Virtual Motorsport, the sister team of RCM.
He managed to come home and win his and BVM's first victory in FSR.
Great racing by Mirko!

In Advanced things didn't go well for Andrius who sadly got problems on the formation lap and was forced to retire.
Andrius has been a constant point scorer and must now look to the Australian GP next weekend.

In Pro Clayton Nelmes did well finishing 11th after having a some problems in the messy pro race.
This was also the last race for Clayton Nelmes as he joins another team.
RCM thanks Clayton for his service and wishes him the best for the future.

All in all very mixed results and we must now look towards the German GP in 3 weeks.

Positive results in Monaco!Sunday May 31st, 2009
Positive results in Monaco!
Monaco wasn't too bad of a race for team RC Motorsports in FSR World Series divisions!

In AMA, neither Fredrik Arbegard nor Rod Soria were able to show, thus scoring 0 points for RCM in AMA at Monaco. But Mirko Lupini of Brodin Motorsports whom RC Motorsports merged with, scored another impressive race with a P8 finish!

In PRO, Clayton did well with a P10 finish with a damaged car, but Rando didn't have as good of a race, and crashed early on, ending his race.

In Advanced, Andrius had a good start with a P8 in qualy, and did great in the race, finishing P7! Unfortunately Peter didn't show as he had work, and Jesper has left the RCM ADV team after Monaco.

So after a tough race where only 3 RCM drivers raced and 2 scored points, the team is looking forward to Turkey for Round 7!

Round 6, the prestige @ Monaco!!Friday May 29th, 2009
Round 6, the prestige @ Monaco!!
With a good last round, RC Motorsports anticipates a good Round 6 @ Monaco! This one will stress both car, driver and minds!

The Drivers:

Amateur:

With Spain being Ajibola Lawal's last race, RCM AMA had a tough decision, as they were forced to let one of their best go. So with the team minus a driver, RCM is using 3rd driver Rod Soria to partner Fredrik Arbegard for FSR AMA Rd6 in Monaco!

Advanced:

Andrius Stankevicius and Peter G. will be the 2 main drivers for RCM in ADV this weekend in Monaco. Andrius comes off an impressive Spain GP!

Professional:

Clayton Nelmes and Rando Muru will be making their 2nd appearance as teammates together in Monaco, after a good encouraging first appearance where both finished in the top 12, both bringing home points!

So with some stability now, the team hopes to have a good run in the exquisite and ultra-rich city of Monte Carlo, Monaco for the Monaco GP!!

Brodin Virtual Motorsport and RC Motorsport announces co-operation deal!Thursday May 21st, 2009
Brodin Virtual Motorsport and RC Motorsport announces co-operation deal!
Brodin Virtual Motorsport and Richard Courtenay Motorsports today signed a deal to confirm that the two teams will from now on work together in the Amateur series in order to hopefully improve their results.

"I think it is excellent that we can work together and exchange our knowledge and experiences. I think it will be beneficial for both of us" said RC Motosports Co-owner Fredrik Arbegard.

Erik Brodin, owner of Brodin Virtual Motorsport said that he is happy over the deal and stated that it is great that the two teams will work together.

A light in the dark...Sunday May 17th, 2009
A light in the dark...
The weekend for RC Motorsport held mixed feelings.

In Ama Fredrik Arbegard failed to qualy and stated that "Some drivers clearly doesn't belong in Amateur." Ajibola Lawal managed to qualy good but sadly he was caught in some race incidents and had to retire early in the race.

In Pro Clayton Nelmes and Rando Muru finished 11th and 12th scoring points for RCM in a race that had to be restarted due to a big crash in Turn 1 on the first lap.

But the surprise came from Andrius Stankevicious in Advanced when he managed from 13th place on the grid in what he said was a slow car drive home to fifth place after an amazing race.

This shows that RCM may still have what it takes to do great in races!

European round is here, Round 5!!Friday May 15th, 2009
European round is here, Round 5!!
With an awful Round 4 in Bahrain behind the team, they can now prepare for some normal racing back home in Europe, for Round 5 in Spain!

The Drivers:

Amateur:

Fredrik Arbegard and Ajibola Lawal return as the RCM AMA drivers, and both are looking for strong results in Spain!

Advanced:

Andrius Stankevicius and Jesper Hagstrom are going to be the 2 main men for RCM in ADV this weekend in Spain! Andrius missed Bahrain due to scheduling conflict, but will be back at it hard in Spain! Jesper will take over from Peter as the 2nd driver.

Professional:

Courtenay Smith's replacement is Rando Muru who is from Estonia and does LFS and an rFactor Estonia F1 league. So he is vastly experienced and should take over the seat from Courtenay well! He will partner with the always fast, Clayton Nelmes in RCM PRO! So watch out for this new duo in PRO!

So with the first European race, the new and energized RC Motorsports FSR F1 2009 team is ready for Round 5 in Spain!!

RCM races, but no points in BahrainSunday May 3rd, 2009
RCM races, but no points in Bahrain
3 divisions and 4 drivers started the race on the weekend and yet no points were acquired by the RCM Drivers.

In Amateur Rodrigo Soria stepped in for Ajibola Lawal and Rod did good times, as he qualified 21st and Fredrik Arbegard followed in 24th.
At the start Fredrik spun in T2 and banged wheels with Rod into T4 it was very close to Fredrik ramming Rod off road.
Fredrik then retired when Juan Nicola steered in to him and left him standing with engine out.
Rod didn't finish either the final position was Rod in 22nd and Fredrik 26th and last.

In Advanced Andrius missed out on qualy and it was the Russian Peter Gavrilyak who qualified 17th and after a hard race, he ended up in 16th.

In Pro Courtenay Smith who was doing his last race in FSR didn't manage to qualify on grid and Clayton was the one having to carry the RCM flag.
It looked good in the beginning as he became the 2nd RCM driver to qualify in the Top 10 this year with his 8th place.
Sadly it wasn't going to last as other drivers used him as a brake marker and Clayton received much damage during the first laps, which in the end caused him to retire.

So with a disappointed event, RCM must look forward as the next 2 weeks enter the European scene and Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix.
They are confident on making a good name for themselves there.

Round 4 is here!!Friday May 1st, 2009
Round 4 is here!!
After an awful Round 3 in China, the team is ready for a new race in Bahrain!!

The Drivers:

Amateur:

Fredrik Arbegard and Rodrigo Soria are the RCM AMA drivers for Bahrain. RCM had no AMA drivers in China, so hopefully both Fredrik and Rod will be able to race and get some points!

Advanced:

Andrius Stankevicius and Peter Gavrilyak are flying the RCM flag in ADV this weekend. RCM ADV scored no points in China, as Andrius had a terrible race and 2nd driver Jesper didn't make the race, so hopefully with Peter they will do better and get some points!

Professional:

Courtenay Smith and Clayton Nelmes are the RCM PRO drivers for this weekend. Both are coming off bad races in China, were both finished but only Clayton got points, in P14 for one point. So both look to be lots better in Bahrain!

So RC Motorsports looks eagerly to Round 4 in Bahrain, and hopes to bring home some good points!!

Q: took pole and was good for start of race
R: Kevin race first 4 hours, then Courtenay who couldnt run in #21 car, jumped onboard #3 GT1 Saleen to help, due to 2nd driver Steve R. getting hospitalized day of the race...so with Steve not able to, Courtenay helped out, and took car home for last 2 hours...only major thing, lost front left brake, with 1.2hrs left, but brought it home with 1 lap lead...great win guys!! kevin drove great!! get well Steve we miss you!

DSM ILMS Round 1 6 Hours of Sebring!!!Saturday April 25th, 2009
DSM ILMS Round 1 6 Hours of Sebring!!!
RC Motorsports Endurance Racing Team is all pumped, tested, excited, and ready to go, for Round 1 of the DSM ILMS 2009 series in Sebring, Florida for 6 Hours of hard racing!!
The team has its usual 4 endurance cars, with 2 being in 1 class, and 2 being in the other class. So here they are:

The #20 LMP2 Porsche RS Spyder, sponsored by ButtKicker and AutoSimSport, driven by James "Captain" Pickard and Klaus Imer Kaag. This is one of the best teams and driver combinations in all endurance racing, and should be front runners for Sebring if not outright winners. Look for them come race day!

The #21 LMP2 Porsche RS Spyder, sponsored by ButtKicker and AutoSimSport, driven by Courtenay Smith, JT Tami, and Mitchell Weirich. This is the sister LMP2 Porsche car and should be around the top 3 with the speed from the main car and setup work, and due to some good, steady drivers in this car. This is a team that could surprise a few on race day!

The #3 GT1 Saleen S7.R, sponsored by ButtKicker and eDimensional, driven by Kevin Brents and Steve Rousseau. This is the team that won the first 3 in GT1 in SSCA and should repeat their success in the Saleen GT1 car. These two wanted to drive together for 2009, and will be very deadly. Look for them at the front of the GT1 pack for sure!

The #4 GT1 Corvette C6.R, sponsored by ButtKicker and eDimensional, driven by Fredrik Arbegard and Josh Linville. These two drivers are new to each other as far as teammates, but not new to endurance racing or the car. Fredrik drove both the GT1 Corvette and the LMP1 Audi last year in SSCA and did well in both. Josh drove the GT1 Corvette to a great 5th place finish last year, and tested with the team for the remainder of the year after wards, so he definitely knows the car and the speed of GT1. Look for these two to do well in their first race together, probably right behind the RCM sister GT1 car, around podium position.

So those are the 4 RC Motorsports 2009 Endurance cars/teams/drivers for Round 1 @ 6 hours of Sebring. Thanks to ButtKicker, AutoSimSport, and eDimensional for sponsoring them! RCM hopes and expects some big things at Round 1, so look for all cars on the podium, and hopefully a win in both classes, LMP2 and GT1 for first time out in DSM ILMS 2009!!!

RCM suffers in China!Sunday April 26th, 2009
RCM suffers in China!
The weekend for RC Motorsports in Shanghai, China was not what they were expecting after a great Round 2 @ Malaysia!

In AMA, neither Fredrik Arbegard nor 2nd driver Ajibola Lawal could show for Rd3 in China in AMA. Both have real life duties, Fredrik was karting in real life, and AJ had football school related activities. So neither raced Rd3, but both are getting ready for Round 4 already!

In ADV, Andrius Stankevicius was able to race for RCM. He started P26, not a great qualifying effort. But made great ground in Turn 1, up to top 15. But then Andrius was hit twice, and spun once, all three resulting in damage. So Andrius pitted and tried to fix damage, but it was too bad to fix, so he retired after 12 laps, finishing P23. His RCM ADV teammate Jesper was all prepared and ready to go for China, but when qualifying came around, Jesper had some technical issues and couldn't get in server. So he missed China unfortunately.

In PRO, Courtenay Smith and Clayton Nelmes were able to race, but unfortunately both suffered badly. Courtenay started P19 and Clayton P18. Both had first lap damage and troubles, so they both pitted for an extra pit stop early. Both were on a 2 stopper and running around top 15. Courtenay had an incident which forced another stop. That put Courtenay out of the top 15. Clayton had a great final run and finished P14, scoring his first FSR point! Courtenay only managed P18, very disappointing with all the pit stops and damage he got in the race. But they will look forward to a stronger Bahrain race!

So with Round 3 of China behind them, the team looks forward to Round 4 in Bahrain!

Round 3 now!!Friday April 24th, 2009
Round 3 now!!
After a good round in Malaysia, the team is all excited for China!!

The drivers:

Amateur:
Fredrik Arbegard and Ajibola Lawal are excited for China, as Fredrik is coming off a P9 in Malaysia. Ajibola missed Malaysia but will be up to pace in China!

Advanced:
Andrius Stankevicius and Jesper Hagstrom are the ADV drivers gearing up for their Round 2 of the season! Andrius had a P11 in Malaysia and looks to do better in China! Jesper didn't get to race in Malaysia, but promises to do well in China!

Professional:
Courtenay Smith and Clayton Nelmes are the PRO drivers. Courtenay came off a bad P16 in Malaysia but doesn't like China, so we will see. Clayton missed Malaysia, but his replacement, Klaus Kaag finished P4. Clayton has been practicing hard and should do well at China!

So for Round 3 in China, RC Motorsports hopes to have all racing and scoring points!

RCM does great, makes up for Australia!Sunday April 12th, 2009
RCM does great, makes up for Australia!
The weekend in Malaysia can be summed up in one word: potential!
Points were scored and drivers did well in Malaysia!

In Amateur Fredrik Arbegard safely made the grid with a P22 starting spot.
As in Australia, Fredrik made a great start, getting up to P8!
He was running top 10 for most of the race till his one and only pit stop.
He did well and came out P11, and had a great battle for P11 to the very end!
Fredrik had a great last two laps battle with Corey and made some great blocking maneuvers to preserve his P11 spot.
Ajibola Lawal the 2nd RCM AMA driver was all ready to go for Qualy and Race, but unfortunately had family issues to take care of right before the race, forcing him to retire before it even started!
Ajibola was top 5 potential in Qualy and could have maybe gotten Pole in Malaysia.
And in race pace, Ajibola was definitely top 5, maybe podium with the pace he had in practice this week.

In Advanced Andrius Stankevicius made his RCM debut with the ADV Round 1 in Malaysia.
Andrius did well making the top 10 for Q2 and started P10.
Andrius didn't have a great start, and got damage, which hindered his pace throughout the race.
He even had to make an extra pit stop which hurt his 2 stop strategy tremendously.
But Andrius still finished well and scored good points in P11, although a top 6 was definitely possible!
The 2nd RCM ADV driver making his RCM, ADV, and FSR debut was Jesper Hagstrom.
He unfortunately messed up in Qualy and had some technical issues, but would have started in the back, till another driver who got a qualifying lap in, came to race.
So Jesper had to leave the server and wasn't able to race in his debut.
The positive Jesper was top 15 quickest in Qualy, and top 10 fast in Race, so he had some good pace, that hopefully we will see in China!

In Pro, Klaus Kaag and Courtenay Smith both made the grid, with Klaus in P12 only 1 tenth off Top 10, and Courtenay P22.
The start went well with Klaus in the Top 5 early and Courtenay around 12th spot.
Klaus 3 stop strategy worked brilliantly with only 1 small mistake by Klaus, to come home P4!!
Courtenay was running in top 12 but got hit three times, getting damage, and loosing a lot of time. He had the pace for top 12 or top 10 but unfortunately finished P16.

That was the start RC Motorsports was looking for, and now hopefully they can take that momentum to China in two weeks!!

Moving on to Round 2!Friday April 10th, 2009
Moving on to Round 2!
After a semi good start in Australia RC Motorsports moves on for Malaysia and the beautiful Sepang circuit.
The team hopes for an improvement and with the Advanced series making its debut another driver will also make his RCM Debut.
The driver pulse!

Amateur:

#16 - Fredrik Arbegard

After scoring his and RCM's first points for 2009 in Melbourne he should be able to pick some points here too.
But this is his worst circuit and his pace hasn't been great here.

#17 - Ajibola Lawal

AJ had potential in Melbourne but suffered from problems. Now he is back to prove himself worthy of points in the championship.
He has been fast during the week both in qualy and race.

Advanced:

#38 - Andrius Stankevicius

New to RCM 2009 from Lithuania is Andrius. He is new in RCM but not in FSR as he drove 7 races last year in Advanced and came home 15th. He has done great times both in Australia and Malaysia so he will be dangerous.

#39 - Jesper Hagström

A new addition to RC Motorsports just as I had finished the article my boss decided to bother me and hire a new driver. Oh well, Jesper is new to FSR but not to open wheel as he has done it before in an other league. Question is with one year without any open wheel experience will he be able to match the pace of the drivers in Advance.

Professional:

#18 - Courtenay Smith

Courtenay had a decent pace in Melbourne but was unlucky in incidents during the first part of the race.
In Sepang Courtenay has done well before so RCM hopes that he will be able to show the rest of the drivers in pro some pace.

#19 - Klaus Kaag

Subbing for Clayton Nelmes is Klaus Kaag from Denmark. He is one of the fastest drivers for RC Motorsports. Klaus has done Ace races earlier in 2007 and 2008 and joined RC Motorsports as a test driver and Endurance driver for 2009. With no FSR race for long will he be able to use his new Endurance knowledge to gain positions in tomorrows race? No one can say but it will exciting to watch with no doubt.

With those drivers holding the RCM flag high this weekend, we'll wish them all a good race from the RC Motorsports Press Department.

RC Motorsports does ok!Sunday April 5th, 2009
RC Motorsports does ok!
The weekend in Australia for RC Motorsports can be summarized in one word: Isch!
The pace was there but the luck wasn't.

In Amateur Fredrik Arbegard and AJ Lawal qualified 19th respectively 23rd.
AJ was heading for a top 10 lap but made a mistake and couldn't catch up.
In race Fredrik showed the same commitment he did last year by making his way up from 19th to 8th after just 2 laps.
AJ was caught in the incidents early on but he was on a steady 16th place.
Then the problems started that would haunt the drivers both in Amateur and Pro.
The tires didn't heat up enough and after a pit stop, AJ could barely steer the car and decided to retire.
Fredrik didn't get his pace up and lost 3 places before the pit stop.
After it he managed good times but it was too late and he finished on a 10th place.

In Pro, Clayton Nelmes and Courtenay Smith qualified on 15th and 18th making the grid by a pretty decent margin.
But on the formation lap when trying to warm up cold tires Clayton spun and knocked off his front wing.
He was disqualified after trying to drive out from the pits under red lights.
Courtenay though made like Fredrik a good start and was up to 8th place after a few laps.
But hard racing and a few contacts meant that he got damages on his car and when exiting a corner he spun and crashed, thus ending his race.

Not a great start of the season, but at least RC Motorsports scored some points and they hope that they will be able to find some pace at the next race in Malaysia in one week!

Now it's time! Formula-SimRacing 2009 Round 1: AustraliaFriday April 3rd, 2009
Now it's time! Formula-SimRacing 2009 Round 1: Australia
RC Motorsports is gunning up for the 2009 Formula-SimRacing Australian Grand Prix.
This weekend we will see the RC Motorsports Amateur and Pro
drivers battle in their RCMP09's and hopefully acquire as much points as possible.
Now for some driver info:

RC Motosports Ama

#16 - Fredrik Arbegard

Fredrik isn't the fastest qualifier but in races he pushes hard and usually finishes well inside the points.
Last year after qualifying 19th he finished 6th in the Pro race. Question is if he will improve his qualification skills and perhaps battle with the front this year.

Driver quote:

"The car feels good for this track and it is one of my favorites, but I haven't really paid attention to the other drivers speed in qualifying so We'll see what that will give us.
I hope I will be able to make it through T1 and finish the race in points that is my main goal."

#17 - Ajibola Lawal

Ajibola Lawal is the new driver for RC Motorsports this year. 13 going on 14 he is one of the youngest drivers in FSR and he has shown to have a great speed in qualifying.
RC Motorsport hopes though that he will be able to take some points and podiums for the team.

Driver quote:

"Well, obviously it's my first race, so it's all about just consistency and keeping it on the black stuff.I'm not necessarily looking for a pole position or win, but this track has a reputation of people smacking into walls and stuff. So I'll just be planning to keep out of trouble and hopefully bring back some points hopefully"

RC Motorsports Pro

#18 - Courtenay Smith

Courtenay Smith the founder RC Motorsport didn't manage any good positions last year in FSR, but having spent working on his skills in iRacing he looks to be up to speed for this year in the Pro championship.
Smith usually qualifies good and drives good races.
But his aggressive driving style has cost him in the past. Question is will he manage to hold his horses this year?

Driver quote:

"As team owner and manager, I feel we are in the BEST chance possible to finally win a FSR World Series race this year with our new, current lineup. I expect to be near the front if not at the front within the first 3 races of the 2009 season. I hope we are continually top 5 every race. And I will test very hard with the team, to get there!"

#19 - Clayton Nelmes

With Daniel Smektala leaving before the opening round in Australia, his replacement is Clayton Nelmes for RC Motorsports Pro. Clayton has shown great speed both in qualification and race trim and RC Motorsports recons that he will be one of the top 6 runners in pro this year. With the first race taking place in front of his home crowd I think we'll see a good result from him.

Driver quote:

"I'm very excited about my debut season in FSR. I think RC Motorsports is a very competitive team and we have a car which can produce some great results, I hope that i can score regular points, which would be fantastic for me in my first season. I look forward to Melbourne in Round 1, which is my home race, so hopefully points are up for grabs on debut!"

Those being the drivers for this race so lets hold our thumbs and hope they'll do good results!
